Personal Mission Statement - AC Finally Nails It Down

To borrow the sentiment from Carl Buechner (a German writer from the 1800's) I submit this timeless truth and inspirational observation:

"People will forget what you said and may even forget what you did. . . but they will never forget how you made them feel."

Therefore, to conclude a three-month-long self-assessment and meditational goal of articulating a Personal Mission Statement, I am proud to offer the following tune for my heartstrings to whistle upon as I journey throughout my days:

PERSONAL MISSION STATEMENT

WHO: Adrienne Michelle Craighead

WHAT: Endeavor to shine some of the Universe's "abundant radiance" on everyone you encounter.

WHEN: Carpe Diem ~ Aujourd'hui ~ Como Siempre *International Inclination is Intentional :-). It means, "Seize the Day" (Latin) ~ "Today" (French), "Always" (Spanish)

WHERE: Everywhere

WHY: It's my gift, my "raison d'etre", my personal reason for being.

HOW:
1) Look for the Lessons
2) Share the Insights
3) Equip Others With Training and Tools
4) Foster Deeper Personal Connections
5) Promote Universal Understanding
6) Protect What's Precious
7) Live Generously

7 Habits Accountability: The Four Quadrants Chart

NOTE: the goal is to plan time for QUADRANT 2 and minimize time spent in I, III, and IV for max effectiveness and life satisfaction.

I very well may be the luckiest girl in the world. My company encourages personal and professional development and encourages us to sign up for the variety of wonderful classes that HR offers each month.

I just finished session #3 (out of three) of the "Seven Habits" course taught by the lovely and talented Ms. Heidi Holt.

Wow - what a gamechanger this is going to be for me! And I've got the benefit of two wonderful "accountability partners" who will keep me honest on working on the 7 Habits each week as we agreed to meet every Thursday for lunch and discussion.

The chart above (based on the Stephen Covey principles) was just shared by my accountability partner TAMARA (thanks gal!) and I wanted to put it out there in case any of the rest of you wanted to have this in your line of sight at the office.

Cheers!
